Welcome to the Medmenham Village Cricket Club website. We are based in the ancient village of Medmenham nestled between the River Thames and Chilterns, once home of the infamous Hell Fire Club from whom we take our motto, " Fay Ce Que Voudras" or " Do What You Will" which, unlike the previous custodians of the motto, does not involve any monkeys in lipstick and Tutu's. It does however cover some pretty average performances on the field of play followed by some truly world class performances in the Dog and Badger pub .
We are very much a village team comprised of players covering a wide age range. We believe in playing for the love of the game, which is just as well, and play in a series of friendly matches both on Sunday's and on Wednesday evening's.
Our club is based within the beautiful grounds of Wittington House, which is now the HQ of the software company SAS.
